So the latest thing I have been doing to raise money for Amani is cooking cakes and treats and selling them to the staff at my office. Now there are around 85 people in my office and so there is a potential to get a regular daily sponsorship from them. Which is going to come in very handy as there are only a couple of weeks till I go to Tanzania.
So for the past few days and for the next few weeks I’m going to be cooking cookies, cupcakes, and anything else I can come up with thats relatively easy to make – as the only time I have to cook it late in the evening and I don’t want to be up all night doing it. I’ve also been cooking cereal bars for the healthier people in the office. The other day I made chocolate covered cornflake cakes which remineded me of cooking when I was a kid, all the cooking skills are coming back now.
I probably make about about £5 – £10 profit a day after taking out money for ingredients. Which is fine for me as that should mean around an extra £100 to go towards my fund. I don’t think I could cook any more or sell any more than that anyway.
So if anyone has any cheap, easy recepies for healthy, or unhealthy
, snacks please let me know and I’ll add them to the menu.
